Martin J. Healy, MS, PT, ATC (Physical Therapist, Certified Athletic Trainer)

Martin brings 20 years of Orthopedic and Sports Medicine expertise and experience to Coastal Therapy. He excels in the area of preventative treatment and overuse disorders including lower back and neck dysfunction as well as foot/ankle, knee, shoulder and elbow. He also has designed numerous post-operative protocols allowing the return from surgery to be safe and as efficient as possible. He has worked in the field of athletic training at the high school, collegiate, national and international level including the Olympics and Pan-American Games. Martin strives to work closely with his patients to create a team approach with those involved in their health care to return patients back to full function as quickly and safely as possible.

Brian Ylisto, DPT     

Brian graduated from the University of Kentucky with a doctorate in Physical Therapy. Brian is licensed by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy. He has a strong interest in orthopaedic physical therapy with particular interest in treatment of the shoulder.  Brian is currently working towards becoming certified as an orthopaedic certified specialist (OCS) and will further his expertise while working on his Sports Certified Specialist (SCS).  Outside the clinic Brian enjoys playing tennis and cycling.

Dr. L. Ivan Levinrad, PT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

 

Ivan is a Physical Therapy graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa (1982). Completed a post graduate degree in sports medicine and exercise physiology at the University of Cape Town (1983). In May of 2009 he graduated with his doctorate in physical therapy from Regis University, Denver, CO.

 

His specialty is in orthopedics, spinal conditions and sports injuries due to his past experience as a Physical Training Instructor in the SA defense force and his sports accomplishments which include having participated in karate since 1973; subsequently  achieving his 3rd degree black belt in Shotokan Karate in 1982, winning the South African championships 3 times and represented South Africa at a number of international competitions.

 

Ivan ran cross country at school and still runs daily. He has completed 105 marathons (26.2 miles) of which 10 have been ultra marathons (36 to 55 miles).

Antonio Cofer, OT

Antonio brings 13 years of occupational therapy and industrial rehabilitation experience to Coastal Therapy. He is active nationally and internationally serving as a surveyor for the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. He also serves as an accreditation evaluator for the American Council for Occupational Therapy Education throughout the United States.
